Saturday happenings

Artists, performers, designers and creators of Wānaka want to share all the magic in their brains and in their stores. Amble down Helwick St and catch live demos from the artists of Wanaka Arts.
Or bask in the busker’s glow - with musicians dotted throughout the street. The shops and cafes will be sharing their best in class knowledge and wares for you to see and learn from.

Get involved in …

  • Perriam: Beginner and intermediate knitting class. Learn new stitches and techniques. Bring along projects that you need help with from our master knitter.

47Frocks: Hosts Jessie Wong, founder and designer of leather goods label Yu Mei. Jessie would love to meet visitors and talk about the background of the brand and her design choices.

Alice Herald: Presents storytelling through fine jewels. View the beautiful pieces on display all weekend long.

Revology: Invite you to meet Gus Leen, who manufactures innovative furniture and lighting products from his design workshop and studio, Form 53.

Melanie Craig Design: Get some interior design one-liners and learn the spatial dance of interior architecture.

All events are free and will be taking place casually throughout the afternoon, just turn up on Helwick St from 2pm.
